We all want our rights to be respected and to be able to make our own decisions in life.
For some older people, their wishes are not respected, and they are taken advantage of by someone they know and trust. When family members pressure someone to make decisions that make them feel uncomfortable, it can lead to family disharmony and even abuse.
The Your life. Your choice. Toolkit has been created for community members, families and carers to provide information about our rights and how to stay in charge of the choices we make in life. It includes stories about what to look out for in family relationships and practical tips for where to get confidential support.

Learning Forum (35 min video)
